About ASCELA
The purposes of this assembly are to promote resource and information sharing among all individuals who have an affiliation or interest related to English language arts with state departments of education; to form liaisons with organizations and individuals within and outside the Nation Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) who share the interests of ASCELA; and to promote the quality of instruction in English at all levels.
